שרית חדד היא אמנית מוזיקלית ישראלית בעלת קריירה של 36 שנים בתחום המוזיקה, החל משנת 1990. נולדה בעפולה לתוך משפחה יהודית הרית דגים שהגרה מדגסטן, והשפחה עברה לחדרה בשנת 1980. החל מגיל שמונה התחילה להופיע בפומבי, ובגיל 15 הצטרפה ללהקת הנוער של חדרה. בגיל 16 התגלתה על ידי מנהלה אבי גוטה, אשר ממשיך לנהל את קריירתה עד היום.
שרית חדד זכתה להכרה רחבה כאמנית מובילה בישראל. בשנת 2002 ייצגה את ישראל בתחרות יורוויזיון עם השיר "Light a Candle" בטלין, אסטוניה. בשנת 2009 נבחרה על ידי ערוץ 24 כשחקנית הנשים הטובה של שנות ה-2000, ובשנת 2010 הוכרזה כשחקנית ישראל של העשור על ידי גלגלץ וערוץ 24. בנוסף, קיבלה מספר פרסי ACUM על תרומתה לכתיבת שירים והישגיה בביצוע לאורך שנות ה-2000 וה-2010.

Sarit Hadad is an Israeli musical artist with a 36-year career in music beginning in 1990. Born in Afula to a Mountain Jewish family that immigrated from Dagestan, her family relocated to Hadera in 1980. She began performing publicly at age eight and joined the Hadera Youth Band at age 15. At age 16, she was discovered by her manager Avi Gueta, who continues to manage her career to this day.
Sarit Hadad has achieved widespread recognition as a leading artist in Israel. In 2002, she represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn, Estonia, with the song "Light a Candle." In 2009, she was selected by Channel 24 as the best female singer of the 2000s, and in 2010 was named Israel's Singer of the Decade by Galgalatz and Channel 24. Additionally, she received multiple ACUM awards for her songwriting contributions and performance achievements throughout the 2000s and 2010s.
In 2024 and as of March 2025, she was recognized as Israel's most performed female artist. Throughout her career, she has participated in Festigal five times, including in 1998 with the song "Friends of All Colors." In 2004, she collaborated with David D'Or on the DVD recording "Pets in Tunes," and in December 2006 conducted the "Sing with Sarit" tour, which drew audiences in New York City.
